Thanks to our members, donors, partners, and supporters in 2021, the Korea Defense Veterans Association saw a historic rise in membership and reach to support the ROK-U.S. Alliance and our Veterans. We are a relatively new organization, and this is only the beginning of our anticipated growth. Our membership – having increased by 48% in 2021 – is made up of Americans and Koreans who helped build for the ROK-U.S. Alliance a strong foundation for security and democracy in Northeast Asia. They are passionate about maintaining this unique Alliance to continue defending South Korea and partnering for common interests. In so many ways, the generations of Korea Defense Veterans embody the energy and hope of achieving a better future for all Koreans and Americans.
우리 주한미군전우회(KDVA) 회원들과 기부자들, 파트너들, 그리고 후원자들 덕분에 주한미군전우회(KDVA)는2021년동안 전무후무한 회원가입 수 증가와 한미동맹 및 참전용사들을 지원하는 목표 달성을 이루어냈습니다.그러나 아직 우리는 비교적 신생 기관이며 이러한 업적은 단지 우리가 예상했던 성장의 시작에 불과하다고 봅니다. 2021년에 48% 증가를 달성했던 회원가입을 살펴보았을 때, 그 구성은 KDVA가 동북아시아의 안보와 민주주의를 위한 강력한 기반이 될 수 있도록 도와준 한국인들과 미국인들로 이루어져 있었습니다. 우리의 회원들은 한미 양국의 상호 국익을 위해 파트너가 되어주고 대한민국을 지속적으로 방위하는 유일무이한 한미동맹을 열정적으로 지지합니다. 대한민국을 방위했던 양국의 참전용사 세대들은 여러 방면에서 모든 미국인과 한국인들을 위한 더 나은 미래를 이룩하는 희망과 에너지를 나타냅니다.

During our assessment of KDVA operations in 2019, we received consistent feedback that at a time of friction in the ROK-U.S. Alliance, KDVA was needed even more to advocate for and support the Alliance.
