As the KDVA Social Media Contractor, Amy Fisher manages KDVA’s marketing and digital footprint, including social media, website, and marketing platforms. In addition, she provides support to the leadership team by creating engaging content and graphics for KDVA’s programs and publications.
Amy Fisher has a background in veteran nonprofits and diplomatic and special event management, with expertise in marketing, operations, organizational development, and project coordination. She combines practical operational requirements with strong governance practices and excels in analyzing unique challenges encountered within the nonprofit, political, and government sectors.
As the proprietor of Fisher Events and Marketing, Amy and her company conceptualize, build, and execute complex marketing and event projects for corporate firms, government, political and nonprofit organizations, and high-profile live events worldwide. Notably, she recently was a producer for the 59th United States Presidential Inauguration JCCIC Broadcast and the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall of Remembrance Dedication Ceremony.
Amy resides with her family in Alexandria, Virginia, and actively volunteers with several veteran organizations in the Washington, D.C., area.
