SUPPORTING THE KDVA MISSION AT THE LOCAL LEVEL
KDVA is a nonprofit organization registered in Virginia. We were founded in May 2017 to support the ROK-U.S. Alliance and the Veterans who built the Alliance and continue to serve it.
The purpose of KDVA Local Chapters is to bring together our members and supporters to promote KDVA’s mission, honor our Korean War and Korea Defense Veterans, and to host events to network with other members in your area.
Currently, we have active chapters in Hawaii, Georgia, and Florida, with additional chapters planned in the near future. KDVA also has a Korea Chapter that leads and organizes all KDVA activities on the peninsula. As our membership continues to grow, more chapters will be added to better support our members and our mission.

We are looking for future KDVA Local Chapter leaders!
If you are interested in leading a KDVA Local Chapter, the primary criteria to start the discussion is:
- Must be a current KDVA Regular or Association Member.
- The KDVA member must have a passion for the KDVA mission and availability to successfully operate the local chapter.
- Have a presence in their community network.
KDVA HQ will provide support to assist in the operation of Local Chapters:
- Social media support on the KDVA webpage, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Administrative support for KDVA materials and merchandise.
- Introduction to KDVA Partners in your area for mutual support.
- Availability of senior ROK and U.S. leaders for Local Chapter events.
